As you may have noticed, Paper Crafts holds two massive paper crafting contests per year. One is the World Card Making Day contest held every fall for the best crafted cards in five categories. The winners of this contest are announced in the spring but projects aren’t published until the March/April Paper Crafts issue. (Incidentally, we are in the process of choosing winners this week. Look for more to come soon.)
The other contest is our Stamping Royalty contest where we take the crème de la crème of stampers and crown them Stamping Royalty for the year. This contest is held every spring and winners are published in the November/December Paper Crafts issue. Why am I telling you all this? Well, the November/December issue is here and you can now see the winning projects for the 2012 Stamping Royalty contest.
Here are my three favorites from this year’s winners. The first one, Holly shared during World Card Making Week!
Rebecca did a fantastic job of stamping different patterns in each of the circles and creating lovely flow with the circles. Not to mention, the great job she did in stamping white on that very light gray cardstock, which is not an easy thing to do!
Laura was very creative in altering her zigzag stamp to create a pattern totally unique. The sentiment is perfectly stamped and placed as well.
And last but not least, how about Ashley’s idea to make her own decorative tape by stamping her own patterns. Such a cute idea!
There are a several more Stamping Royalty winning projects to see. Don’t forget to check them out in your Paper Crafts November/December 2012 issue. Maybe these cards will trigger some new ideas of your own so you can enter next year’s contest!
