Good morning! It’s great to have you with us this morning on the Paper Crafts Connection blog. Today, I’d like to tell you about our newest special issue. It’s not on sale quite yet, but I want to give you a little sneak-peek-a-roo into the issue.
Say hello to Paper Crafting Tips & Tricks! This 164-page mag is full of versatile ideas for all kinds of techniques, products, and ideas for stamping, not to mention how to use those paper punches and fresh ideas for how to use those many crafting supplies you may have stocked up on over the years.

Wanna see a little bit of what’s inside? Alright, alright, I’ll show you a few of the technique squares!
Check out this fun look created by Beth Opel. Her goal was to use shaped punches in creative ways. For one of her six squares, she used a bunch of border punches to make her own patterned paper!
Next we have an example of paper folding. Go-to gal Windy Robinson made box pleats with patterned paper for this square. Check out her other ideas; there are five more paper folding techniques for you to see!
Lastly, stamping of course! Another Go-to Gal Betsy Veldman created a shape with her sentiment stamp for this technique. You’ll find five more great ideas from Betsy for sentiment stamps on page 132!
So there you have it—a brief look into the issue. Make sure to come back and visit us next week as we’ll be showing you many more techniques, projects, and some of our own handmade cards on the blog as well as offering giveaways!
Speaking of giveaways, how would you like to win some fun projects featured in this issue as well as a copy of the issue? Just comment below telling me something fun you’re going to do this weekend, and you’ll be entered to win! All comments must be received by Tuesday, October 23rd at 5 pm MDT.
Thanks for checking in!

Thanks for the chance to win, Holly. This issue looks great and thanks for the inspiration from it. Yesterday, we watched our “beloved” GREEN BAY PACKERS football team WIN!!!!.. I enjoy watching with my husband–and he didn’t get called in to work –so that was nice.
Did a charity walk with friends Friday night.
The weekend has passes–but I’m hoping this next weekend I can have a full day of crafting with some friends!! And I’m making potato skins:) THANKS for the chance to win:) sbmmhoover at yahoo dot com
Last weekend was chill out weekend… much needed.
Spent the weekend in our homestate (much colder there than where we live now) catching up with family and friends that we have not seen for way too long and also celebrated my birthday!!! Thanks for a chance to win.
My eldest daughter arrived late Friday evening to spend a week’s vacation with my husband and me. It is wonderful to have this much time with her!
I have lots of weekend plans – but the one I am looking forward to the MOST is creating and making 25 cards to share at the upcoming CKC Seattle that I will be attending. This is my very *FIRST* card swap, and I want to make some cards that all the crafty people with whom I am swapping cards will really like. It is a challenging and kinda daunting task – to design cards for other paper crafters who have higher expectations …. but I am up to the challenge, and look forward to making 25 cards!!! Yee haw!
