Happy World Card Making Day Paper Crafts peeps! I hope you are enjoying your day so far. I had a ton of fun creating this card for the occasion, a Christmas card made through the technique of paper cutting. I simply drew this starry scene onto some tracing paper, making sure that all the elements touched one another in some way. Then, I placed the image face-down onto a piece of white paper and secured it with masking tape to prepare myself for the fun part: cutting out all the negative space with a craft knife. I mounted it onto some cardstock with some foam tape and voila! Instant Christmas card!

Oh my word- I loved this at first sight & then I read how you did it–( no machine?!)……wow, now I love it even more and am most impressed.
Cath, I admire your tenacity to do all that fancy paper cutting. That would never work for me–I’m exacto knife challenged.
Wow, you really put in a lot of work to create this. The result is stunning, though!
Hah! Now I know that Cath is an amazing fussy cutter!
I am so impressed! I am simply stunned that you cut this out with a craft knife!
That is one amazing card – I just love papercutting by any technique, and your doing it by hand makes it one-of-a-kind!
What a piece of art! Thanks for sharing, Cath.
love the card
Wow! This is awesome! Simple to look at – not to make! I am pretty sure if I did manage to sketch a design that the craft knife portion would go awry for me. I admire your skill!
You are a dynamo with a craft knife. Wow!
I don’t know that I would have the
patience for all that cutting. Beautiful card.
I am so envious of your creative talent! Such an elegant card.
Wow, sounds like a lot of work to hand cut the pattern! But it looks super cool!
WOW what a candy!!! I would love to see these magazines sipping a cup of Tea:)
This is gorgeous Cath! I would never have the patience
Wow. That show took lot of time. I love it.
