Happy World Card Making Day, everyone! We’re so happy to celebrate this day with you today on the blog. We started our celebration really early on the blog today, and we’re going to keep it up until noon MDT, so keep checking back!
But now, for my card!
I love to create cards that can be used for everyday occasions, as well as celebrations. To keep the design clean, a simple sentiment is the perfect way to finish the look!

Now for your chance to win a crafty mystery box! Make sure to leave a comment telling us which occasions you like to make cards for, and we’ll pick one lucky winner to receive a mystery box! Comments must be received by Monday, October 8th at 5 pm MDT!

Beautiful color combo!
I really enjoy making/designing cards for weddings. I try to incorporate special touches unique to the couple and use the colors the bride and groom have chosen for their flowers, dresses, etc. Thanks for your great ideas and for the chance to win, Joannie.
I like to make Christmas and Birthday cards. TFS
Gosh! What reason or season do I NOT make a card? I’ve recently started sending cards to friends before they go on vacation wishing them a happy vacation and/or a card welcoming them home. I especially enjoy sending a Welcome Home card because I feel overwhelmed going through my mail and finding mostly bills when ireturn from a trip. A Welcome Home card would surely put a smile on my face so I assume my friends would feel the same way.
What a cute card Joannie!! I love the colors and the asymetry and the cute little bird. Most of my cards are thinking of you/friendship cards
