Happy World Card Making Day! Did you know today officially kicks off the holiday card making season? It may seem a little early to be listening to Christmas carols and sipping hot cocoa, but it’s never too early to get started on those holiday cards, especially if you have a long list of family and friends!

Take our Simple Sentiments on p. 87. I used the mistletoe sentiment to create this Merry Kissmas Card. I think red, green, and kraft is my new favorite color combination. (Of course, I say that about A LOT of kraft combinations!)
All I did was trim the mason jar from patterned paper (there are actually 12 whole jars on this single piece of paper, so it’s perfect for mass-producing!), trim the sentiment to match the shape of the jar, and adhere. Add a bright red bow and some pearls to accent the berries and you’re done! For complete supplies and instructions, click here.

Well, I started my day creating a Christmas card, spent some time in the sun this afternoon (summer is not quite over here in Greece) and then browsed the new PaperCrafts (digital) edition on my new iPad. Happy World Card Making Day!
We were at an out of town wedding but I hops to get some cards made today.
I was going to start this weekend but got ill w/the strap throat so I have to wait til next weekened..
It’s raining so I will be inside working in my craft room.
Crafting (starting to make card sets to give as Christmas gifts to co-workers, etc.) and watching a movie with my husband.
I spent most of the hopping around to blogs having hops after jogging in a local 5K race. There was so much terrific inspiration and wonderful sharing.(I’m so glad Paper Crafts will being sending extra cards to OWH. That’s a wonderful cause to support. Thanks gals.

I started and ended my day making cards and hot chocolate holders but in the middle of the day I took a break to do some sewing so I could clear my mind for more great card designing.
I got one card made but then we went to a corn maze!

I wasn’t able to craft on Saturday, but my mother and I got together today to make cards. We made a few, prepped for more and did a lot of talking

I think I will get started on some Thanksgiving cards – I have all the supplies I need.
I spent the day celebrating my husband’s birthday eating our way through the Napa Valley!
WCMD saw me on the Silver Coast of France strolling the beach. But I did have quite a marathon cardmaking stretch prior to vacay

Gorgeous card. I spent my day chatting with my Card maker friends, making cards. It was so much fun!!!
I started the day at garage sales looking for products that I could repurpose when making cards. I found a lg pkg of adorable stickers that will go on my Christmas card envelopes. I didn’t do any card making but did come up with my Halloween and Thanksgiving card designs. I plan to start making them today!
After having to be out and about in the am, I spent the afternoon playing with some recent purchases that turned into some cheering up cards. Then I hopped online in the evening and purchased the upgrade to Stampin’ Up’s MDS2 for all my digi projects. Fun times!! I love WCMD!

I worked on Halloween cards with a vintage kit created by Betsy Veldman one of my very favorite crafters! Love the card, super cute!
I spent the day at a stamp camp with friends, good food and good FUN!!!
I wasn’t able to craft on Saturday, but I plan to make several cards tomorrow (Tuesday)–can’t wait!
