World Card Making Day: Kerri

I hope you are all enjoying your time creating cards for World Card Making Day. I know traditionally this day is to kick off the holiday season but I’m bucking the system with a spring-colored Hello Card. I guess I’m just not ready to go there yet.

8057848719 c88b2bb1cd World Card Making Day: KerriFor the harlequin pattern, I adopted a chevron paper-cutting technique I learned from our Go-to Gal Jennifer McGuire.

8057847886 703a85791e World Card Making Day: KerriAfter cutting strips of paper and gluing them to a base paper, I then cut the base paper into strips and glued them into a harlequin pattern on my card base. Stamp a sentiment, add a few brads and a ribbon, and voila!

How would you like a crack at a crafty mystery box? Comment below telling me which pattern is your favorite (zigzag, harlequin, quatrefoil, damask, etc.) and I’ll pick one random winner. Just make sure your comment is in by Monday, October 8th at 5 pm MDT!

Happy crafting!
