And I love looking at different color palettes. I see them all over Pinterest and often find myself repinning my favorites. Take this one for instance!

I thought color combination selection was more important for scrapbookers, but I see from your article that card makers should be involved too. I usually start out with a basic color and go with what I have on hand that coordinates. Hadn’t thought about using other materials to lead me to a color combo. thanks for the tip.

Love seeing how colors make the design of cards (or layouts or anything really) come to life! I am an “earth tones” kind of gal but LOVE RED..so I try to find a way to incorporate it wherever I can.
color inspiration for me….for scrapping or card making…is usually from my patterned papers. I buy patterned paper just because I like it, and then it is my jumping off point. Same for quilting and fabric patterns
I find color inspiration from people’s clothes and from painted rooms and decors.

Love the colors!
I find my colorinspiration everywhere around me. It may be in the nature or just in some clothes someone is wearing, who pass by me on the street or anywhere I´m looking. So it´s really everywhere and not just one place.
I find my color inspiration mainly in nature. Sometimes I will find something online that just draws me in.
oh how I LOVE Design Seeds and their gorgeous color palettes! Pinterest is always good for inspiration as well, but many times I just start looking out my window or at the things in my craft room – usually something vintage will pop right out and inspire a project.
I love these vibrant colors!
Those cards are so awesome–I especially love Kalyn’s color combination.
I check out Design Seeds daily and love it, but the BH&G picture is awesome, too. I’m kind of a color addict myself, and one of my favorite inspiration sites is the Color Collective blog.
My color combinations come from just playing around with different colors of cardstock.
I look to my Paper Crafts mag and stamp catalogs for inspiration on colors. If I relied on my self everything would be made with blue!
I got inspiration just tonight from the bottle on wine on the table at dinner. Not only did it have great colours but a great pattern AND a great layout I plan to use on a card. Bonus!
