Warning: the following post will be messy, but fun!

Have you ever wanted to try a new technique, but needed some inspiration to help you get started? Or felt clueless about where to start when making a card? I feel that way every year when I start to work on my holiday cards.

I’m constantly turning through old issues of Holiday Card & More, clicking through Pinterest or watching videos on YouTube.

But today I got a few ideas by perusing Paper Crafts’ new online instructional videos. You can find them at on our the Paper Crafts website by clicking the “Videos” tab in the toolbar.

8242348874 fcb773a394 Groovin with the Go to Gals: Crafting with AdhesivesI was happy because I came away from it with a list full of ideas for techniques that I can use in my own way on future projects. Want to see what I created today for you?

PinExt Groovin with the Go to Gals: Crafting with AdhesivesSusan’s video All About Adhesive – Adhering Glitter with Super-Tack Tape inspired me to make a few special cards.  Take a look at it.

The video reminded me of all of the Super-Tack Tape and glitter that I had sitting in a drawer and I decided that they would be great materials to use for a holiday card.

8241279379 be6d5c29ba Groovin with the Go to Gals: Crafting with AdhesivesSo let’s have a video scavenger hunt for a sparkly prize. Who can find another Paper Crafts video where Susan uses glitter on a project? (Hint: it would be a technique that I’d use to make cute Christmas ornaments).  Leave a comment here by Friday, December 7th at 5 pm MST telling me what Susan covered with glitter in the video and I’ll pick a winner to receive an assortment of glitter from American Crafts and the Snowflake Greetings holiday stamp set that I used from Cas-ual Fridays Stamps.

Here’s to some glittery fun!

Beautiful cards. I love how the glitter sticks so well with the super tack tape. I need to get some more glitter and some of this tape so I can do this. The only other video is the chipboard heart made with decoupage to seal the glitter in. What a great way to do that. I will be trying this one as well. Thanks for the chance to win some glitter to play with.
