Whew! Here we are, two days after Christmas. You’ve baked, cleaned, decorated, celebrated, caroled, and gifted like a pro. Now it’s time for some YOU time, dontcha think?

So head to your favorite craft store (maybe you got a gift card in your stocking?) or order it online. For instant access you can order the digital version here. Here’s what it looks like so you know what to look for.

Now as you’ve likely gathered, within these glossy pages, you’ll find 75 fun challenges (and fabulous cards) to get your creative juices flowing. Today, I thought I’d share three of my favorite projects from the issue to whet that little appetite of yours. As you feast your eyes on these cards, I’d like you to try to guess what the challenge might have been for each card.

Absolutely Delightful Card by Alice Wertz
Wouldn’t you agree that this card by Alice Wertz is INDEED, delightful?

Back in the Saddle Card by Rae Barthel
As a self-professed lover of patterned papers, Rae’s card simply SINGS to me. So. Cute.

With All My Heart Card by Jaclyn & Elizabeth Miller
What makes this card so special in my book is the mother/daughter collaboration of Jaclyn Miller and her daughter Ellie. And no, crafting with your child was NOT the challenge.
Alright, sleuths: what do you think the three challenges were? Gather up your guesses and leave me a comment. Three lucky commenters will win a copy of this issue for themselves! Just make sure to leave a comment by Monday, December 31st at 5 pm MST.
Stay tuned to our blog. We’ll be spending a whole week celebrating this issue from January 7th–11th. You’ll get all sorts of inspiration that will make you RUN to your craft space. I’m not kidding.
This issue is totally awesome!

What the challenges might have been for each card:
1. To use Washi Tape as background design
2. To use twine
3. To have something quilled as the focal
Use the word delightful, use a song, use some type of crafting other than paper to display a heart:)
