As trends editor for Paper Crafts magazine and in my role as host of the Moxie Fab World blog, it’s my job pleasure to inspire your card making on a daily basis. I am constantly on the look-out for the most inspiring products, the coolest techniques, and the most creative approaches to paper crafting I can possibly find.
Which is why I’m loving Pinterest so much. Nothing beats it as a visual bookmarking system, and while I had plenty of resources before Pinterest came along, now I have even more inspiring avenues through which to explore trends, gather inspiration, and collect visual libraries of the things in this world that matter to me the most.
Which, apparently, includes gathering my favorite handmade card ideas. Check out these lovely holiday cards I pinned recently.
I about fell off my chair when I first saw this strikingly graphic card by Cristina Kowalczyk. This just goes to show you that simple designs can make a BIG impact:
On the contrary, these shabby chic mittens by Melissa Phillips are as sweet as sweet could ever possibly be:
And how supah fun is this card by Maile Belles?
Paper Crafts Go-to Gal, Teri Anderson, is participating in a 25 in 25 holiday card challenge with Ashley Harris. Once again, Teri has “wowed” me with her ability to combine seemingly random elements in a fabulously ordered way:
This ah-mazing card by Ardyth Percy-Robb perfectly captures the way colored lights on a Christmas tree blend together, don’t you think?
And I don’t know about you, but Go-to Gal Betsy Veldman has duplicated the chalk board look so exquisitely on this trendy, trendy card, I could look at it all the day long:
And to think, these are just 6 out of well over 200 beauties I have added to my board entitled Cards I Just Love. I’ve also got a Paper Crafts Favies board and a Moxie Fab World Challenge Winners board for a grand total of over 560 inspiring projects! Feel free to click on over!
My friend, co-worker, and partner in crime, Susan R. Opel, also has a seriously great board that features handmade card ideas. It is appropriately entitled—wait for it—I Puffy Heart This.
Go-to Gals Windy Robinson and Teri Anderson also have boards dedicated to handmade cards. Click HERE for Windy’s board, Love these CARDS, and HERE for Teri’s board called Neat Cards.
And of course, you can always count on your friends here at Paper Crafts magazine to supply you with endless card inspiration. Click HERE to follow all things Paper Crafts and click HERE to follow our special holiday card board, Season’s Greetings Cards.
How ’bout you? Do you have a Pinterest board dedicated to handmade card ideas? If so, leave a link in the comments so we can all have a look-see and share in the card-making inspiration!
Enjoying yet another way to share the joy of card making,
~Cath
