Groovin’ With the Go-to Gals: Card Crafting

Okay, so now that all of our holiday decorations are nicely packed away and February is just 15 days away, who is ready for Valentine’s Day? My 5 year old certainly is ready.  And after an entire morning reading about Ruby Valentine, Amelia Bedelia and the Berenstain Bears’ valentine celebrations, I was inspired and ready to craft a valentine of my own.

A while back I bought a vintage deck of cards on Etsy hoping to transform it into some kind of “52 things” project. Well, no time like the present!  Right?

PinExt Groovin’ With the Go to Gals: Card CraftingSo with that deck of cards becoming a mini album, and a few photos and my paper crafting supplies, I thought I’d knock my husband’s Valentine’s Day gift off my to-do list.  Don’t worry, he’s not much of a blog reader and I’m only going to show the album without journaling. I’m still working on that one.

PinExt Groovin’ With the Go to Gals: Card CraftingThis was not only a fun crafting project, but when I went back to put together my journaling, it was a good exercise to define those 52 reasons. I’m still debating on what order I should include them in the album. Like I said, I’m still working on it.

Just leave a comment here by Friday, January 18th at 5 pm MST for your chance to win the 6×6 collection pad a set of clear stamps from BoBunny’s Love Letters collection. Good luck!

Happy card crafting!

Also love this fun pack of papers and stamps. Pinky but not too pinky because of the incorporation of other color tones and pattern elements. Lots of heart but not get bored. Great design!
