P. Kelly Smith

I was assigned Challenge #49: Make Your Own Background Paper in 75 Creative Card Challenges. To create the background, I took two definition stamps from Hero Arts’ Dictionary Greeting set and stamped them both twice to create the look of a seamless newsprint paper. Lining up the stamps perfectly was a little tricky, but any imperfections only add to the look and feel of real newspaper, smudges and all! If you’re inspired by this technique, why not enter the Make Your Own Background Paper Challenge over on Moxie Fab World? See how far your imagination will take you!
