Can you believe the holidays are over already? I sure can’t! But I will admit I am thankful for these peaceful and relaxing days that follow the holidays. And what better way to relax than with a bit of stamping!
I decided to get a bit more life out of some of my holiday stamps by using them for winter thank you cards. Here, I used the Tim Holtz Christmas Blueprint stamps along with one of my favorite coloring techniques.
These stamps are so amazing and perfect for a variety of card styles. I decided to keep the designs quick and simple. After stamping with black ink on kraft cardstock, I added bold color by heavily coloring with Prismacolor pencils.
By applying a thick layer of colored pencils, the color really pops against the kraft background. A white pencil can also add great highlighting.
Easy, isn’t it?
