Groovin’ with the Go-to Gals: Mini-Trend, Anyone?

As most of you know, last week was the huge Craft and Hobby Association Show. I was lucky enough to attend and get a chance to “sneak a peek” at many of the products that will show up soon on your store’s shelves. As a trend watcher, I was excited to see arrows, watercolors, mint green, and nautical motifs showing up full force at the show. Today, I want to share what I call a “mini-trend” with you.

I think of a “mini-trend” as something you will see a sprinkling of throughout the show. It may not be as big as washi tape, but it has its own little niche in our paper-crafting world.

I saw constellation patterned paper and horses as two small, upcoming trends at CHA, but my favorite was the pie chart. Here are some examples.

I could hardly wait to get home and create this card.

Happy trend hunting!

  8. Pie charts remind me of work!

  9. Horses? Really? I don’t get it. But I am seeing the pie charts everywhere. And, I don’t really get them either. Reminds me of 8th grade math….which I didn’t particularly enjoy. I’m glad it’s a mini trend….maybe I can ignore it. Your card, however, is super happy and cute…just like you!

  10. I’m very excited about the constellations and horses!!!!!!!! Love your card!!
