You might be a Stampy Stamper if . . . . .
1) You buy alcohol-free baby wipes in bulk and you don’t even have a baby.
2) You steal your son’s/husband’s/brother’s plastic baseball card organizers to organize your many stamps.
3) Kissing and “Smooches” mean something entirely different to you.
4) You spend your Friday evenings watching embossing powder turn from a powder to a solid and get giddy over it.
5) You know the difference between dye ink, pigment ink, and solvent ink and which works best on felt, wood, paper, glass, plastic, burlap, etc.
6) You look at your food and decide it would make a great handmade stamp.
7) You know how to properly pronounce Tsukineko.
8) You are often caught browsing the $1 stamp bins at your local Michael’s.
9) You don’t mind getting a little dirty when you paper craft.
10) You describe colors as Onyx Black, Latte, and Baja Breeze.
11) The first column you read when your Paper Crafts magazine arrives is Stamping Techniques.
If you can relate to the above, then you are indeed a Stampy Stamper and you should pay extra special attention to the following announcement.
The 2013 Stamping Royalty Contest is right around the corner! We’ve gathered up a fabulous prize package of product worth over $750 from some of your favorite stamp and ink manufacturers to award to 15 winners.

Do I have you attention yet? Here’s what you need to do to enter.
1) Create an original STAMPED card (You’d be surprised at how many people forget to stamp on their card entries!) for the following occasions:
- Birthday
- Christmas/Season’s Greetings
- Hello/Thinking of You
- Love
- Thank You
2) Send in your card entry to our office for judging. Entries must be postmarked by April 8, 2013. Check out the official rules for the specifics.
3) Wait patiently for your winning card to be picked and published in the Nov/Dec 2013 issue of Paper Crafts magazine along with your picture in your reigning Stamping Royalty Crown.
It’s pretty easy to enter, but the competition is fierce. Get those stamps and inks out and get started on your Mona Lisa original! We can’t wait to see what you’ve created. Here is a favorite from the 2012 winning entries found in the Nov/Dec Paper Crafts issue to get your creative juices flowing.

… if vacation to you is finding stamp stores everywhere you go and taking an almost empty suitcase to bring home all your goodies.
You know you are a stampy stamper when everything you see gets sifted to see if it can provide inspiration for a card. I was watching the BBC weather forecast the other day and then made some fab cards based on what the meteorologist was wearing!
This one is more related to scrapbooking – (but hey, you can stamp on scrapbook pages, right?!) – I’ve always loved how people will decorate their rooms and or clothe their children in colors they love to scrapbook with!!! This is a beautiful prize and yes, I will definitely be entering this year! It’s part of my New Year’s resolution

12. Finding out that a stamp is ‘unmounted’ doesn’t phase you no matter what form it might take. In fact, it even excites you because it means it takes up less space so you can have room to buy more stamps!
seeing a design or picture of some kind and thinking that would make a great stamp
A Stampy stamper gets inspired for card designs by everything and anything around her – peoples clothes, photos in books/mags, curtains, kids pencil cases you name it. She also has ink under her nails and on her finger tips. She saves all the bits of ribbon and gift wrapping (and even florists things out of flower arrangements) and foil from inside the lids of coffee jars to reuse on cards.
A stampy stamper will come out in any weather to attend Stampin’ Night at my house. Since it starts at 6 p.m., you know it will be late before we are finished. Rain, snow, cold, they still come out and have a good time. And I’m thrilled because I don’t have to get out in it (though I would if it was at somebody else’s house.)
I love the “You don’t mind getting a little dirty when you paper craft.” That goes for your two year old too
You know you’re a stampy stamper when you analyze what others are wearing to come up with cool color/pattern combos.

Leaving the house with ink stained hands. And thanks for the chance to win.
Checking out every craft store in the area when on vacation!
…when you save store catalogs for the color combos you can use on cards instead of wanting to buy what’s in the catalogs!
