Hi Paper Crafts Friends!
Some of you may remember me from a few years ago when I worked with Paper Crafts as Editor-in-Chief. Well I’m back as the Digital Managing Editor for Paper Crafts and Creating Keepsakes magazines, and I couldn’t be happier. For those of you that I haven’t connected with yet, let me tell you a little about myself.
I love dogs, any shade of purple, and chocolate! As long as you remember those things, we’ll get along famously.
I am a crafter at heart. My mom is the one that ingrained the love of creating from the time I was old enough to squeeze glue from a bottle. Over the years, I have tole-painted, decorated cakes, made flower arrangements, beaded, scrapbooked, stamped, made cards, crocheted, sewn, and knitted. When I got into the paper side of life I started scrapbooking, but quickly switched to making cards because I can do them quickly and get that instant gratification I need.
Typically, I say my style is simple, because it’s easy and I don’t have to think about it, but I’m drawn to shabby chic and pretty designs. I honestly like all styles and love perusing magazines for inspiration—good thing I work for one.
So, that’s me in a nutshell. I’m so excited to be here and look forward to sharing ideas, techniques, inspiration, and more over the coming months.
Have fun creating!
~Stacy
