Hi crafters!
How’s your week going? Need to reward yourself for getting the kids off to school, or the laundry done, or dinner made? I have the perfect treat – a card making video.
The Paper Crafts web site has several how-to videos on using adhesives (basics to creative uses). One that caught my eye was All About Adhesive – Popped-up Sentiment Strip. I love using foam squares to raise elements on my cards, especially sentiments. It adds that little extra something to the design by adding depth.
Here’s a great example of how popping your sentiment with foam squares can elevate your card.

This card by Lisa Arana from the March/April 2013 issue shows how raising the stamped portion of the sentiment makes it the focus.
Now the fun part – grab some popcorn, or your favorite movie treat, and watch this video for the ins and outs of using foam adhesive to pop your sentiment.

Have fun creating!

Thanks for the video full of great tips! All of the tags were gorgeous! Love Lisa’s card! Beautiful design and colours and I love the way the eye is really drawn to the sentiment piece!
Beautiful card – the colors and popped up sentiment make it so. The video was good – loved all the tags.
Isn’t this Lisa a smarty-pants?
Great card. The video link lead me to a lot more video’s …thanks.
I totally agree, and I also use tons of these small dots on my cards all the time.
I also just love all the great videos you´ve gathered here and often go back here to check some thing, if I have some doubts about different things. Thanks sooo much for sharing all these videos.
Great video tips and great card. The popped up sentiment on Lisa’s card would be enjoyed by any guy. The subtle stamping and colors are perfect.
