Was able to get together with my Stickle Queens for a Craft Playdate on Wednesday after a snow storm cancelled the previous get together. I so enjoy my Stickle Queens and making cards together.
I crafted with an old friend and introduced her to the world of washi tape!! It was SO much fun!!
I completed 50 cards for Operation Write Home. It is such a good feeling to know these will be used by our heros.

It just barely squeaked into the month, but last Thursday I finally had a mixed media play date with a few friends!
The best thing in January was a 3 day mini vacation to play in the snow, cross-country skiing and snowshoe fun.
I celebrated another wonderful year of life. Yes my B-day. How wonderful it was.

Best thing that happened to me in January would have to be CHA! I spent 4 days in the company of some fabulous girls who made me laugh so hard and gave me such memorable times.
The best thing in January was getting having my granddaughter visit.

The best part was enjoying some time off work with family and friends!

Gosh, I had a fun January! One of the best things was starting a running class called “Fit Women” and we run in the dark, through rain, snow, wind, whatever and it is so much fun! What was your favorite thing about January?
The best thing that happened to me in January was when I went out for dinner with my BFF. We had a great time, talking about what happened over the holidays & just enjoying each others company. We do this every month–just to keep in touch & I know that she looks forward to our dinners as much as I do….
We were treated to a fancy hotel room and a gala evening with our lovely daughter who was honored as a winner in the VFW Voice of Democracy program!
The best thing that happened in January 2013 was starting the new year waking up in our very own home. This will be a year of challenges, but also of hope and inspiration, so setting up our home is definitely an energy boost for the whole family.
The Best thing that happened was that all of my kids were home on New Years and we celebrated a late Christmas!!!!!

I celebrated love in january.
I was in a terriably abusive relationship for 7 years..I reported the abuse and he was arrested. after 1 year of court delays in January 2013 – a jury by court found him guilty of felony domestic abuse.
my kids and I will be making valentines yhis year w a new outlook on love.loving ourselves!
My DH turned 70 on the 9th of January and as I was quite busy at work he said yes to being trained to assemble the invitations, place cards for his “Grey Hare” party, Menues Thank you notes etc. We had a blast and all my scrapping friends have told him Well done! Who said you can’t teach an old dog new tricks. =0) Photoproof is on my blog a few entries down. Maybe living with me in a house full of crafts and 1000′s of cards for the deployed Danish soldiers (as I am in charge of the Danish version of OWH) might have rubbed off after all.
Best thing in January – having my son home from college until the 20th, and getting him safely back up north (after some airline hoop-jumping).
