Happy Friday! We’re half past February, and I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait until spring. But fortunately, in the meantime, there are so many things that happen every day to be grateful for, and today one of those things is this giveaway!
The sweet ladies over at Some Odd Girl are offering up some really fun stamps today. Would you like to win them?
To enter, just leave me a comment telling me a stamping trick you use by Tuesday, February 19th at 5 pm MST! I’ll pick one random winner to win this.
Good luck, and have a great weekend!

post its for masking is wonderful! i have tons of it laying around just for that purpose!
I like masking my images, I save the masked pieces and reuses them if I can.
Would absolutely so adore to win these…. fingers and toes crossed!
I love to paper piece. I think it’s a fun way to add a pop of color.
I love multidimensional stamps so lots of stamped images and pop dots! If one image doesn’t come out just right, I use that one on the bottom and the best image on top.
I create my layout then snap a quick pic so I can easily tape everything right back where I want it!!
What an awesome prize! thanks for the chance to win!
I clean my stamps with baby wipes when I am done using them!
Good luck stampers!
Would love to win them. Thanks for the chance.
Mine is re a crisp image- I rub my new acrylic stamps on my arm until foggy to remove any residue. Ink it up well and stamp on scrap paper until stamp is well seasoned. And ensure I have some foam under my paper as padding. Great crisp image every time!
Wow, awesome prize! My tip – if you like to use digital images, print them off on a laserjet printer (rather than an inkjet printer). You’ll be able to color in with your Copics much faster with LaserJet.
I generally stamp on a separate piece of paper and then attach it to the project. That way if the stamping isn’t just the way I want it, I can try again until I get it right without having to restart the whole project. (I learned this one the hard way, many times.
Sometimes I will stamp images with just plain old bleach. It gives a batik appearance on paper!
Stamping trick – I usually stamp my images the day before I’m coloring. This gives it ample time to dry completely.
I use a flexible mouse pad under my paper/card stock when stamping. It gives a nice clean image and evens out pressure. great prizes thanks for the opportunity.
I would love to win. Thanks for a chance. I take a picture of every card I make so i can make them again and again.
I like to stamp on distress inked paper with versamark on the stamp that has been spritzed with water.
I would love to win (thank you SOGS)! Instead of using the actual “masking” technique, I prefer to carefully stamp my images into different pads of ink to achieve a multi-colored image with one go. It takes precision, but the efforts are worth it.

Hi there! Iove SOG!
a stamping technique I love is paper piecing but then coloring in over the patterned paper I’ve chosen with copucs to add more shadows and depth… Thanks for the chance to win!
Ohhh! Awesome prize. Hmmm. Stamping trick? Okay. Well, I don’t know if this is a trick but the old ladies that I stamp with once a month taught me to “huff” and blow warm air on my stamps after applying the ink. I do it every time but I am not so sure if it works!
Ilove masking to make “scenes”.
I love SOG!! and my trick is to use water based pens to colour my stamps to make the stamp multi coloured when stamped!! Thanks for the chance to win!!
A trick?…I use my stamp-a-ma-jig a lot to make sure my images and words are straight and not crooked. Looks like a bunch of great stamps. Thanks for sharing.

Paper piecing is my favorite tip, it gives so much more dimension to your stamped images
