Happy Birthday, Ahtanya!

Holly Happy Birthday, Ahtanya!

Holly Anderson

We love birthdays. I think that’s pretty obvious by the fact that you won’t find a regular issue of Paper Crafts without several birthday cards on its pages.

So, today we’re here to celebrate the birthday of one of our most foundational team members: Ahtanya!

Who is Ahtanya? You don’t see her face in the magazine or the blog, but we’d be terribly disorganized and lost without her! She’s the hard-working Editorial Assistant for Paper Crafts AND Creating Keepsakes magazines.

Happy Birthday, Ahtanya!

What does Ahtanya do for all of us around the office? Only A LOT! Why don’t we tell you a few of the things she does!

Stacy Croninger: Ahtanya is so good to bring around the latest issues of each magazine. I appreciate her taking the time to hand deliver rather than placing them in our mailbox.

Susan R. Opel: Ahtanya is my sister in tidiness. I love that with her organized mind we are running on high efficiency!

Kerri Miller: Ahtanya quietly goes about her business of making things more awesome for our office and always with a smile on her face. She makes my life easier with her ability to track and organize hundreds of projects, and she remembers amazing amounts of details along the way. Happy Birthday!

P. Kelly Smith: Ahtanya runs a very efficient operation as the editorial assistant for both magazines. I liken her to a cruise director on a ship. There’s always a million things to do “onboard” (and all in various stages), but she manages to make it look effortless.

Jennifer Schaerer: As an editorial assistant, Ahtanya does so much to support our team. From sorting, labeling, and logging in all the projects received for publication to entering project payment amounts, creating invoices, and returning all those projects to the people who submitted them, she really does it all. And since we’re a pretty small office, she also tends to wear several hats besides that one—she keeps track of paper clips and postage, boxes and bubble wrap, plastic cups and pencils plus everything in between. Here’s to you, Superwoman—happy birthday!

As you can see, she's not only hard working, but a lot of fun!

Her birthday isn’t until tomorrow, but feel free to leave Ahtanya a birthday wish!

As for my birthday wish to Ahtanya, since I know she loves sandy beaches, blue skies, and palm trees….

    Electronic cards are the ultimate free birthday cards. The selections are endless and run the gambit from the tongue in cheek funny, to the preposterous and oblique. You may choose to add a variety of sounds to your graphic selections, as well as the opportunity to add as much or as little personalization as you choose. For those with a talent for words, this is the perfect vehicle for a birthday poem to send to the happy celebrant. Of course, an added feature is the fact that you not only save money because you are not purchasing cards themselves, but you also save because you do not have to pay for postage! In addition to the foregoing, if you are truly in a pinch for time, these cards can be sent before midnight and still arrive on time for someone’s birthday! Truly a procrastinator’s dreams come true..

    The oldest greeting cards we have today date back to the 14th century, made somewhere in Europe. The culture of giving greeting cards developed in the 19th century when printing press came into the picture. Greeting cards, these days, are of various types. These types include standard greeting cards, photo greeting cards, personalized greeting cards, reusable greeting cards, electronic greeting cards etc. The pictures and messages in greeting cards come in various styles, which range from fine arts to profane. Although in today’s world, technology has made everything so fast and easy, but the charm and warmth of sending a card to someone is not lost.;
