I love it when a simple product inspires an entire project.
Tombow’s new Fastener Tabs (think Velcro, but paper thin) inspired me to create an interactive color book where my cute little man can match colorful stamped images (attached with Fastener Tabs) with the color words on each page.
I created the book base from 6×6 chipboard squares covered in patterned paper. The pages are secured together with Washi Adhesive Sheets from We R Memory Keepers. I had fun stamping, coloring, and trimming the images to coordinate on each page.
I adhered Fastener Tabs to the back of each image, and adhered the coordinating tabs onto the pages. Now I can take the images out of the book, and my three-year-old can attach them back to the pages where they belong.
Thanks to Tombow, you have a chance to win an adhesive prize package, including the Fastener Tabs that I used. One lucky winner will receive a package of Tombow’s Fastener Tabs, as well as their Power Tabs and Foam Tabs.
My little guy seems to have given this book his seal of approval. Wouldn’t you agree?
