It’s back to school for the kiddos and back to the craft room for you! And as it’s August, I’m starting to think quite a bit about an upcoming holiday. What’s that, you say? Labor Day? No…. I’m thinking more along the lines of World Card Making Day!
World Card Making Day is Saturday, October 5th this year. This holiday is the opportunity to celebrate the creativity of handmade cards and the personal connection that they create between friends and family as well as kick off the holiday card-making season!
In conjunction with this crafty holiday, we also host a contest you don’t want to miss out on! This year we’ll award 15 incredible card makers with a paper-crafting prize valued at more that $600!
Anyone is free to participate; however, if you’re an international winner we won’t be able to send you your prize unless you have a U.S. shipping address. Make sure to read the official rules to know all of the details of this contest.
To start getting you pumped up about this fine holiday, I just want to show you a few cards that knock my socks off and that might start inspiring your card making!
