It’s less than a month away, my friends! World Card Making Day is less than a month away!
Occurring on the first Saturday of the month of October (October 5th in 2013!), World Card Making Day kicks off the holiday card-making season and is a fabulous chance to share your talent and craft with your friends and neighbors.
How can you celebrate, you ask? Oh so many ways.
First, you can check out our official sponsors on the website. These guys make it possible for us to run this contest. We love their support of Paper Crafts and all of you!
You can also add your blog to the World Card Making Day blog tour! On October 5th, all the people on the blog tour list will be celebrating World Card Making Day. Join to celebrate your craft, get some blog traffic, and make some new friends!
Plus, you can always celebrate with friends or family by organizing an event to make some pretty cards. Have a card party, and share your creations now or the day of by sharing them on your blog, Twitter, Instagram, or Facebook! On Twitter, tag us and use the hashtag #worldcardmakingday so we can see what you’ve done! You can also use the hashtag on Instagram and Facebook!
Last but definitely not least, we have our World Card Making Day contest! With a prize package worth over $600, I think you’ll definitely want to make a card or two for the chance to win! Check out the meaty prize pack!
Directions on how to submit and more info on the prizes can be found here, but just know that all entries must be postmarked by Tuesday, October 15th! Also, remember to write your instructions on a sticky note to attach to the back of your card rather than writing directly on the card or gluing them on. This way we can easily remove the sticky note and send those cards to Operation Write Home for soldiers to use if your card doesn’t win!
One last thing. You don’t have to wait until World Card Making Day to create and submit to the contest; you can do it NOW! We are accepting submissions, so go for it!
Thanks for checking in and good luck!
