I love babies. With their pudgy, little toes and tiny hands that curl around my finger, I’m hooked in an instant. And then when they smile. It absolutely melts my heart. Don’t even get me started on all the cute clothes and toys! Ahh, babies. Do you think they can get any cuter? They can! Add polka dots, well not to the actual baby, just to your creations for the baby.
Our March 2014 issue has a whole section dedicated to polka dots and babies, including cards, party items, gift bags, and more. You want to see them, don’t you? How about a peak at a few of the adorable projects? Then you can head over to the March issue and see the rest.
Celebrate the new baby with a party that includes these Baby Shower Bubble Favors by Jaclyn Miller. The circle design is easy to mass produce with a punch or die-cutting machine and ties in beautifully with the polka dot paper. Plus, these cute favors are as fun to display as they are to use.
When I first saw the Snuggly Elephants card by Maria Fischer, the song Baby Mine popped into my head. I love that scene in the Dumbo movie and that’s what this sweet card reminded me of – a mother cradling her babe (and yes, I cry every time I see that scene). The polka dot paper is perfect for the adorable baby elephant.
This last project is so stinkin’ cute! Small Fry Boy Box by Katie Gehring is just the right size for a gift card or cute pair of little shoes. And the play on words, well, it just works!
