Kalyn found cute apple fabric to cut her accents from. In case you can’t find apple fabric, give this apple pattern a try with cardstock or felt for an equally fruit-tastic option. And remember, Throwback Thursday projects often contain products no longer available so use what you have on hand or substitute with something similar to make it your own creation!

I know many older students who would love to get a gift like this. Many of my friends have gone back to school in their mid life. Thanks for the great ideas.

I especially like the notebook. There’s not much worse than a boring old composition book when you need inspiration for anything. Thanks for the apple pattern, too. That bag is such fun!
