Throwback Thursday: Ice Cream Shaped Card

Knowing how to finish the inside of a card is often something card makers struggle with, which is why we published Card Creations: Start to Finish, Vol. 2. This special issue included images and instructions for creating the card front as well as the inside.

Becky Olsen made her You Make My Heart Melt card in an ice cream shape that folded at the top. The front sentiment, I Love You, was perfect as is, but the inside tied it into the card’s design, you make my heart melt. So sweet! This card appeared in the Love section, but could easily be changed for a different occasion. For example, for a friend, use “All You Need is Ice Cream” on the front and on the inside “and a friend like you!”
