Send us your fresh and innovative ideas for projects based on the following themes. You can increase your chances of being published by using current products available throughout 2012, the coolest techniques, the finest execution, and a style that’s all your own.

Halloween Tricks for Treat Giving
While dressing up for Halloween is always a blast, handing out treats packaged in a clever way makes any crafty girl’s eyes sparkle!
We’re looking for tags, food wraps, treat containers and bags, and non-candy treats with a Halloween theme to give to friends, coworkers, students, and/or neighbors in a variety of styles (fun and cute, clean and graphic, classy and elegant, vintage, shabby chic).
Natural Elements
Ah, the glorious textures of fall! Nature commands our attention, and we revel in its autumnal beauty.
Craft manufacturers have taken note and are making inspiring items made of burlap, wood, denim, kraft, cork, woodgrain, and canvas (actual and/or printed versions). Create projects that feature these natural elements as the focal point of your design.
Create cards, gift bags and tags, gift card holders, paper crafted gifts, gift wraps, mini-album covers, home décor, etc., in a variety of styles (fun and cute, clean and graphic, classy and elegant, vintage, shabby chic) for the following favorite occasions: Halloween and fall as well as birthday, thank you, congrats, miss you, get well, hello, just because, encouragement, friendship, thinking of you, etc.

Our January/February 2012 issue showed you that maps are moxie fab, and now it’s your turn to play!

This issue’s column will focus on paper piecing.

Be sure to use a fall-appropriate color palette when designing.

Paper Crafts magazine prides itself on its blind submissions judging. Please be sure that your project image does not contain a watermark with any personal information. When you submit an image of your design, please make sure it is clearly photographed straight-on with a neutral background or scanned.
DEADLINES:
Image/submission deadline: Monday, March 12, 2012
Project acceptance from Paper Crafts editor: No later than Friday, March 16, 2012 (Please don’t submit your project(s) to any other publications or post online until after this date.)
Completed project in office: No later than Friday, April 6, 2012

I think this is a lovely idea… but I see that the only Jewish holiday you’ve included is actually a MINOR one (Hanukkah, in December)… in fact, Pesach (Passover) in the spring, and Rosh Hashannah (New Year) in September are MUCH more important to us. Is it possible to amend your list?
